Transfer your WhatsApp Chats from Android to iPhone

Transferring your WhatsApp chats from Android to iPhone can be tricky, but it is possible. WhatsApp users may soon be allowed to alter the messages they've previously sent. The modification could limit the time that sent messages can be edited before being locked, as they are currently. However, you could still entirely remove them if you change your mind. The strategy could be similar to what iPhone users do, who can currently alter emailed text if they have iOS 16 or later. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you: Make sure your Android phone and iPhone are connected to Wi-Fi.

Use A Third-Party App

Note that some media files, such as videos, images, and audio files, may not transfer with the chats, but the conversations will still be available. Additionally, third-party tools, such as the Core app, are available that claim to be able to free secure file transfer WhatsApp chats from Android to iPhone. Still, it's recommended to use official methods as they are more secure and reliable. While it is possible to use third-party apps to transfer your WhatsApp chats from Android to iPhone, we recommend using the official method outlined in the previous answer as it is more secure and reliable. For the manual process, we have another method to transfer WhatsApp chats in 203 manually.

Method to Backup Chats

On your Android phone, open WhatsApp and go to Settings, Chats, and Chat backup. Tap Back Up Now to create a backup of your chats. Once the backup is complete, remove the SIM card from your Android phone and insert it into your iPhone. On your iPhone, download and install WhatsApp from the App Store. Open WhatsApp and follow the setup process, including verifying your phone number. When prompted, choose to restore your chat history from the backup you created on your Android phone. Wait for the restore process to complete. This may take some time, depending on the size of your chat history. Once the restore process is complete, you can access your WhatsApp chats on your iPhone.
