Xiaomi MIUI 14: New Update Rollouts in 2023
The following phase of Xiaomi's MIUI 14 worldwide launch has been announced. Recall that the firm had previously stated that 18 smartphones, including recent flagships like the Mi 11, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12T series, will be receiving the most recent release of its operating system. The intention to update almost a dozen POCO smartphones was subsequently confirmed. However, these devices will receive MIUI 14 between Q2 and Q3 of 2023.
Xiaomi MIUI 14 Update
A few weeks ago, Xiaomi introduced the eagerly anticipated Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China. The smartphone has drawn the public's attention and was reportedly regarded as the photos champ even before its introduction. Xiaomi asserts that its recently released product is a camera phone rather than a phone with a camera. The company's major goal was to give its customers actual phone cameras.
Please be aware that receiving Android 13 and an MIUI 14 upgrade does not ensure your device will do so. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is based on Android 12 and Android 13. The leading smartphone brand adds that a second POCO devices rollout strategy would be made public separately in the next few days.
Updated Camera Features
There are three primary improvements:
Enhance the image quality of various scenes and the photography process.
Street shooting mode has been modified to have a default zoom ratio of 1.5X.
The fixed focus distance for street photography is set to 0.6m, 1.2m, or 5m.
Download Update Now
Xiaomi has published two versions of the MIUI 14 OTA update for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in less than 24 hours. Both updates aim to improve the user experience and increase the device's camera performance. While the second patch, MIUI 14.0.8.0, has a capacity of only 87MB, the first patch, MIUI 14.0.7.0, has a capacity of up to 6.5 GB. To prevent low-storage issues, we recommend you should clone your phone data to another Android by using Smart Transfer app before downloading the large MIUI update file. Xiaomi has urged all customers to upgrade their handsets to increase system stability and boost shooting quality.
Summary
Xiaomi has announced the global rollout of MIUI 14 for 18 smartphones, including recent flagships like the Mi 11, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12T series. Xiaomi claims its focus with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra was to provide its customers with an actual camera phone. Customers are encouraged to upgrade their devices to enhance shooting quality and system stability.
