Motorola Edge: Sharp Display with Smooth Performance



While the Moto Edge+ from this year shares more characteristics with its immediate flat-screen predecessors from previous years, they include a metal and glass construction and a curved-edge OLED display. The appearance is more recognizable, and the quality is higher. That's primarily because the new screen's curved edges are noticeably less prominent than before and that the glass back is matte rather than shiny.


Moto Edge+ Camera

This time around, the camera bump is more of a rounded rectangle, but it still houses three cameras (a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra wide/macro camera, and a 12MP telephoto/portrait camera), a dual-LED flash, and a covert fourth microphone. The packaging is finished with a Motorola logo on the rear. There is a punch hole in the upper middle for the 60MP selfie camera and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor on the front, which has thin, even bezels all around.

Although the Edge+ (2023) is also a decent option at a little under 800 dollars, the Motorola Edge (2023) is likely the superior alternative for many in the brand's 2023 portfolio. Although the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 in Motorola's Edge (2023) is likely a beefed-up Dimensity 1100 CPU, it is still suitable for use in regular activities.
