Vivo S17: Advanced Budget-Minded Smartphone



Long-running leaks and rumors have been circulating about the forthcoming Vivo S17 series. Even the anticipated models in this series were posted on several certification websites, disclosing their fundamental details. By formally unveiling the Vivo S17 series, the brand has finally put a stop to the leaks. Here are some official details linked to this phone and how users can get this phone in their region.

Vivo S17 Design

The brand-new Vivo S17 series will be introduced in May, according to a recent official announcement from Vivo. The launch date is the only further information the corporation provided in the official statement. Let's start with the display. The Vivo S17 series' Standard and Pro variants will both have a 6.78-inch, single-punch-hole curved screen that supports 1.5K resolution with 2160Hz PWM dimming. A 7.46mm-thick, 188g-plus polycarbonate frame will be used throughout the whole series.

Vivo S17 Chipset Performance 

Regarding the chipset, MediaTek's Dimensity 8200, a sub-flagship category processor, will be used in the Pro variant. A Snapdragon 7 series processor, most likely the Snapdragon 778G or 782G, is said to be included in the base model. With this chipset, performing multi-tasking will be super easy for the users, and not only that they get extra-storage space to save unlimited files. Vivo S17 Series Camera

A triple camera configuration with a 50MP Sony IMX766V lens, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens with 2x zoom capabilities is available on the Vivo S17 Pro. The telephoto lens is absent from the regular model, which has a twin camera configuration instead. 

Vivo S17 Series Battery & Scanner

  • The Vivo S17e and the rest of the series will all feature 80W fast charging.

  • The Pro model's battery capacity has now been confirmed to be 4500mAh.

  • The Vivo S17 series' optical in-display fingerprint scanner is another standout feature.
