Xiaomi Pad 6: Solid Build Quality Tablet
A new tablet from Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is already available in China and Europe and may soon be released in the UK and other parts of Europe. Those seeking an Android tablet may wish to wait before making any purchases at this time. What is known about the eagerly awaited Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro is included below.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Display
At the same event where it debuted the Xiaomi 13 Ultra phone and the Xiaomi Band 8 wearable, Xiaomi also unveiled the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro in China. The standard Pad 6 was subsequently released on June 13 in Asia, however, neither the Pro model nor any indications of a UK or European release have been made. The 11-inch LCD screen has been briefly upgraded to a 144Hz refresh rate and a more detailed 28801800 resolution, which should improve the tablet's performance for gaming and video consumption.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Chipset
The screen is the same size and display technology as in last year's edition. The tablet's Snapdragon 870 processor, which is the logical upgrade from the 860 utilized previously and offers the same 6GB RAM and 128GB storage in the basic model, powers it. You can easily switch bulk data to this phone from an older device using a data sharing Smart Transfer app that offers secure and simple steps with no interruptions. The somewhat bigger 8840mAh battery can be charged at 33W, and it should last for a respectable amount of time.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Price Package
The regular 6GB/128GB Xiaomi Pad 6 model costs 1,999 Yuan ($290/£235) in China.
The 8GB/128GB Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro costs 2,499 Yuan ($360/£290) in China.
The Pad 6 starts at 26,999 ($330/£260) in Asia, the same price as the Pad 5 when it was first released.
If Xiaomi maintains prices in Europe and a launch is planned there, the price would be £369/€349 based on the price of the Pad 5.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Wrap-Up
With an 8600mAh capacity, the battery is really a tiny bit smaller than before, but the twice-as-quick 67W charging should more than make up for that. Additionally, the Pro has four speakers and a 20MP selfie camera with exceptional quality, both of which should be excellent for video conversations. The Xiaomi Pad 6 should fulfill all of its promises, hopefully. If you can't wait till then, see if anything else catches your eye in our list of the best Android tablets.
