Nothing Phone 2: Camera Update with New Features



Mid-July saw the announcement of the Nothing Phone 2, ending months of leaks, speculations, and enthusiasm. The Nothing phone (2) is a step-change for this startup smartphone in that it builds on a lot of what the original version started. The Phone 2 outperforms the original device in every important department, including availability, performance, and camera. Nothing is releasing a large camera-focused update for the Phone 2 to address some of these problems now that it is available for purchase. Nothing Phone 2 Camera Updates

The most recent upgrade brings Nothing OS up to version 2.0.1, and it comes with a long list of improvements and new features. Nothing OS 2.0.1 for the camera adds features including 2x zoom in Portrait mode, Motion capture in 50MP mode, a new Nothing watermark, better image quality in third-party apps, increased video stabilization, and more. Other updates include a new one-handed mode, four new wallpapers, and the option to add widgets to the lock screen and Always-on Display. As part of the upgrade, Nothing is also introducing a novel, experimental Glyph Progress for Uber. You can now use the Glyph interface to check the status of your Uber rides.


Nothing Phone 2 New Specs

Nothing states that the update will improve the performance of the face unlock and fingerprint sensor in addition to bug fixes and general enhancements. Overall, this is a sizable update for the Phone 2 that fixes several launch-day faults and adds several new capabilities. To download the new update, make sure to create enough storage space on your phone by installing the duplicate contacts fixer and remover Smart Transfer app which will help to remove unwanted contacts with a few taps. On your Phone 2, go to Settings > System > System update to download the 105MB update. Additionally, charging efficiency will be improved under "extreme conditions.". A lot of the features listed in the release notes were also included in Nothing OS 2.0, so keep that in mind.
