Reno 10 Pro Plus: Blend of Performance & Style
those who don't, it was the first smartphone ever to popularize periscope-style telephoto cameras, even before Samsung entered the birdwatching market. The distinction is that Oppo stopped iterating while Samsung continued.
Reno 10 Pro Plus
With the Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G, it is making a reappearance five years later, and we can't help but get a sense of déjà vu. It's not an apples-to-apples comparison because the 10X Zoom could zoom in 5X while the Reno 10 Pro Plus could only zoom in 3X optically, but it comes the closest. The Reno 10 Pro Plus, like the 10X Zoom, aims high in other categories while maintaining competitive pricing against the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus.
Reno 10 Pro Plus Design
Design is one of such fields. Reno phones have an extensive history of exceptional designs. Even now, the ocean-green Reno 10X Zoom may make you shiver. Although you can't truly put names on an artistic decision, I find the design of the Reno 10 Pro Plus to be calming. It is also capable of transcending time and place. The model we're reviewing is referred to as glossy purple, although it's neither glossy nor purple.
Reno 10 Pro Plus Performance & Battery
The phone's overall performance and battery life are also equally reliable. With 12 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU, the Reno 10 Pro Plus is a quick performer. The phone brings a decent bundle to store enough data but it is not ideal to forget about removing duplicate data. The best solution is to delete multiple contacts with the help of a reliable Smart Transfer app that can help remove unwanted duplicate contacts with a few taps. This phone's 4,7000mAh battery provides a full workday of use, and its 100W rapid charging capability charges it from zero to one hundred percent in only 33 minutes.
Reno 10 Pro Plus Display
The screen is 6.74 inches in size, OLED, and has a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and 1.5K resolution. When displaying HDR material up to HDR10+ is natively supported, it can reach a peak brightness of 1400 nits when in direct sunlight and 1100 nits when not. The numbers are nearly flagship quality, and while an LTPO panel would have been ideal, the Reno 10 Pro Plus's display can only be faulted with extreme nitpicking. It is beautiful. An optical in-screen fingerprint reader completes the set. It is dependable and quick.
Wrap-Up
At Rs 54,999, the Reno 10 Pro Plus may seem a bit pricey, and there are undoubtedly some areas where Oppo could have disappointed its most devoted fan base, but when you compare it to its direct rival, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, whose pricing is almost two times higher (Rs 94,999 for 8GB/256GB), everything starts to make sense. This isn't a company like OnePlus, iQOO, or even Motorola. The Reno 10 Pro Plus then doesn't appear to be pricey. It seems logical.
